Since the plane was sparked, FAA is investigating a United Airlines emergency landing at Newark

www.dailymail.co.uk, September 22, 2022
After sparks flew off and rubble (top right) fell to the ground minutes after taking off from Newark Airport, a United Airlines jet had to make an emergency landing last night. Following a failure of what is believed to be a hydraulic pressure pump, UA149, which took off from Newark and Sao Paulo, Brazil, at 11.24 p.m., had to enter a holding pattern (flight path top left) over the Atlantic. The Boeing 777-200ER returned to Newark Airport just over two hours after dumping fuel over the ocean to reduce weight, about an hour and a half later. The plane safely landed after the crew reported an emergency, and the Federal Aviation Administration reported that an investigation was underway. A nearby plane spotter allegedly caught the terrifying moment on camera, shooting the shower of sparks streaming from the Boeing 777's landing gear compartment.
