Hanna Mangan-Lawrence (born 5 March 1991) is a British-Australian actress best known for her role in Bed of Roses in 2008 and a Logie Award nomination in 2009, as well as Seppia in the Starz historical drama Spartacus: Vengeance.

Early life

Mangan-Lawrence is the niece and nephew of Maggie Mangan, an English teacher and playwright, and Ray Lawrence, a geography, economic, and business studies instructor. Roisin, a half-sister, two half-brothers Liam and Reuben, a stepsister Zoe, and Paddy, a teacher, is among her nieces and nephews. She has represented Australia as a member of the elite gymnastics team in the world. At the Gymnastics Australia National Awards in 2005, she received "Acrobat of the Year – Senior" for the fifth time. Mangan-Lawrence completed her high-school studies at the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts in 2009 through Pathways.

Personal life

She is married to Omar Bustos, a Los Angeles-based photographer, and they have a son who was born in 2019.

Mangan-Lawrence was born in London, United Kingdom, and she began working in 2005 with the short films Simulation 1201 and Galore. This was followed by a leading role in the short film Sexy Thing, which was accepted into the Cannes Film Festival in 2006.

In the 2008 horror film Acolytes, Mangan-Lawrence was cast. She then appeared in The Square. For her appearance, she was nominated for a Filmink award for 'Best Australian Newcomer.'

In 2009, she appeared in the Australian period drama Lucky Country.

Mangan-Lawrence appeared in Bed of Roses, an Australian drama series that aired on the ABC television network. She was also nominated for the 'Most Outstanding New Talent' award at the Logie Awards in 2008 in 2008.

Mangan-Lawrence appeared in the film Thirst in 2012. She has also appeared on the Starz television series Spartacus: Vengeance as a recurring cast member.
