Gwendoline See-Hian Yeo (born July 10, 1977) is an American actress, voice actor, writer, and singer best known for her role in Desperate Housewives, Sun Foy's film Broken Trail (for which she was nominated for a Best Actress NAMIC Vision Award) and as the voice of Shinigami in Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Personal life

Born in Singapore, Yeo migrated to California, United States as an adolescent, where she attended St. Ignatius College Preparatory before graduating with honors in 1994. Yeo graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1997 with a summa cum laude. At the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, she obtained a diploma in classical piano.

In 1995, Yeo was crowned Miss Asia and 1998–99, she was also named Miss Chinatown USA.

She is the niece of George Yeo, a Singaporean former politician who served as Minister for Foreign Affairs between 2004 and 2011.
