Gennaro "Gino" Sheffield D'Acampo (born July 1976) is an Italian celebrity chef and media personality best known for his food-focused television shows and cookbooks. D'Acampo rose to fame as a regular chef on the ITV show This Morning.

He has since hosted cookery shows including Let's Do Lunch, There's No Taste Like Home, and Gino's Italian Escape.

Personal life

D'Acampo and his partner, Jessica Stellina Morrison, was married in 2002. He has three children.

D'Acampo was found guilty of burgling singer Paul Young's London home in 1998 and spent two years in jail. Young has apologized for the D'Acampo's admission and suggestion that he should dine him for dinner in his restaurant.

D'Acampo is a fan of Leicester's rugby union team.

D'Acampo, 19, returned to London in 1995 to work in The Orchard Restaurant in Hampstead, London, and the Cambio Restaurant in Guildford, Surrey.

D'Acampo, a manufacturer of Italian ingredients, and Bontà Italia Ltd, a ready-food manufacturer, has worked in the field of ready-food manufacturing, beginning with the Tesco Finest range. This experience aided him in his first appearance as a guest on Great Food Live in BritainTV Food and the beginning of his television career.

In 2009, D'Acampo was crowned King of the Jungle in the ninth series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! D'Acampo and fellow contestant Stuart Manning were charged by the Australian police with animal cruelty for killing and cooking a rat on the show. The charges were later dropped after ITV confessed to being responsible for the incident.

D'Acampo has appeared on television shows such as This Morning. In 2010, he launched his first iPhone app, "Gino D'Acampo – Eating Italian."

D'Acampo and Melanie Sykes hosted the daytime cookery show Let's Do Lunch With Gino and Mel from 2011 to 2014. From 2012 to 2014, the show aired for four seasons and three Christmas specials. On LBC 97.3, D'Acampo hosts a Sunday afternoon cookery and talk show. There's No Taste Like Home, the daytime cookery series, debuted in 2011.

In 2013, D'Acampo founded My Pasta Bar or My Restaurant, which later became My Pasta Bar or My Restaurant. In July 2013, Pasta Bar, his first Pasta Bar, opened on Fleet Street. In Leadenhall Market, Bishopsgate, Euston Railway station, and the Manchester Corn Exchange, Harrogate, Camden Town, (Gino D'Acampo My Restaurant) - There are also restaurants in Leadenhall Market, Bishopsgate, Euston.

D'Acampo has appeared on ITV seven series of Gino's Italian Escape from 2006. To accompany each collection, a cookery book will be published.

On the ITV2 panel show Celebrity Juice, D'Acampo stepped in as a team captain for Holly Willoughby in fall 2014, when she went on maternity leave. In Spring 2015, D'Acampo appeared in the following series again, this time as a regular panelist. D'Acampo returned to Celebrity Juice in September 2015, where he replaced Fearne Cotton as team captain when she wasn't on maternity leave.

In 2015 and 2017, D'Acampo toured the UK with Gino's Italian Escape, which was accompanied by his television series. He toured cities like Bath, Newcastle, and Margate. Channel 5 had won the Win Your Wish List for its Saturday night lineup, with D'Acampo as host. The show is now called Gino's Win Your Wish List. Stellify Media has produced the revival.

In the fourth series of Michael McIntyre's Big Show, D'Acampo was awakened by Michael McIntyre's Midnight Gameshow in December 2018.

Gino D'Acampo's controversial ITV show to 'begin filming again after being shelved' following 'horror crash'

The TV chef is reportedly set to resume filming for his new travel show, after it came to abrupt halt six months ago due to a 'horror crash'.  Emissions Impossible was going to be hosted by Gino and his good friend Fred Sirieix, however the show was stopped after a shock toboggan accident with 'blood everywhere'.  The chef, 47, had been in Vienna with the French maître d'hôtel, 52, for the new travel show as they visit some of Europe's most stunning locations when the accident occurred.

Also, The television show The Other World, which aired in January 2023, and Significant Others, which aired in June, has been cancelled. Deep Fake Neighbour Wars converted the UK's best new impressionists into the world's most popular celebrities and embroiled them in petty neighbor disputes.
