Gian Paolo Chiti (born in Rome, January 21, 1939) is an Italian composer and pianist. He began his studies in piano, violin, and composition at the age of four before registering for the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, Italy's most prestigious music academy, at the age of ten.
