George Eads Life

George Eads III (born March 1, 1967) is an American actor best known for his appearance on the CBS police drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as Nick Stokes.

It was announced on November 25, 2014 that Eads would be out of the series, which in any event was not renewed for the following season, implying that he only saw the series finale television film, Immortality.

Jack Dalton appeared on the CBS action-adventure show MacGyver for three seasons.

Early life

In Belton, Texas, Eads was born and grew up. Arthur "Cappy" Eads, a retired district attorney who died on November 1, 2011, is his father. Vivian Baker (née Athens) is his mother. George graduated from Belton High School (1985) and Texas Tech University (1989) with a degree in marketing. He was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity in college. Eads spent time as a copy machine salesman as well as offering first aid and safety equipment for Cintas prior to embarking on acting.

The Eads took a pickup truck from his stepfather to Los Angeles, California, to continue his acting career. Since he landed in Los Angeles, he could only drive during the day because the truck had two broken headlights. He got his first glimpse at the prime time soap opera Savannah, in which he played conniving Travis Peterson and later Travis' twin brother, Nick Corelli.

In 1997, Eads appeared on ER as a medic Greg Powell, and later on many made-for-television films such as Crowned and Dangerous (1997).

Eads, a Las Vegas forensic scientist who played Nick Stokes, became one of the main characters of CBS' CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2000.

Eads worked on made-for-television films, including 2003's Monte Walsh and 2004's Evel Knievel, parallel to CSI.

According to reports, the Eads took a leave of absence in August 2013 after being thrown out of the program due to what was described as "creative problems." It was announced on November 25, 2014 that Eads would be leaving the series; in any case, he was not renewed for the following season; he only survived the series finale television film, Immortality.

Jack Dalton appeared in CBS's reboot series MacGyver from 2016 to 2019. As MacGyver's third season was filming in Atlanta, Eads begged to be released from his job in order to spend more time with his young daughter, who lives in Los Angeles. The producers eventually decided against the Eads being written out of the film, but left open the possibility for him to return as a guest star in the future. The last MacGyver episode "Father + Bride + Betrayal" was on February 1, 2019.

Monika Casey was born in 2011 in Eads. They were expected to be expecting their first child in January 2014, and Casey gave birth to their daughter, Dylan, later this year. In 2015, the couple divorced.
