Gary Jules Aguirre Jr. (born 19 March 1969) is an American singer-songwriter best known for his cover version of "Mad World," which he co-produced with his buddy Michael Andrews for the film Donnie Darko.

It was the UK Christmas Number One single of 2003.

Jules' version has been used on many American television shows, including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Jericho, The O.C., Smallville, House, and Riverdale, as well as a Lloyd's Bank commercial displaying a horse galloping through various stages in people's lives since then.
