Gabrielle Nicole Logan (née Yorath) was born 24 April 1973, and she is best known for her appearances with BBC Sport and ITV.Logan produced Final Score for BBC Sport from 2009 to 2013.
She has also appeared in a number of live sports broadcasts for the BBC, including a resurgent episode of Superstars in December 2012 and the London Marathon since 2015.
Early life
Logan was born in Leeds on April 24th, 1973, to former Welsh international footballer and boss Terry Yorath and his partner, Christine. Yorath was playing for Leeds United at the time. Since her father played for a number of British teams as well as in Canada with the Vancouver Whitecaps, the family moved often. She attended Cardinal Heenan High School and Notre Dame Sixth Form College in Leeds.
Logan played netball at school and university, as well as in the high jump, but she reached her highest point in her sporting career when she placed 11th in rhythmic gymnastics, representing Wales at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland.
During her regular attendances at her dad's games, Logan became interested in football. Her mother was pulled out of a "sense of duty" after her son was dismissed from the service. Logan, as well as her brother and sister, was in the crowd at Valley Parade on May 11, 1985, the day of the Bradford City stadium fire. She had only been waiting for the fire to break out and watch the unfolding tragedy unfolded.
Logan's first television appearance came when she was selected as the Leeds Rose for the 1991 Rose of Tralee competition.
Logan plays golf and is a fan of Newcastle United dating back to her time at Durham University, where her then boyfriend, who was a student, was a fan. She recalls her first match as Newcastle's 1–0 Premier League win over Everton on August 25, 1993, and she or a traveler has flown or rail to St James' Park through the 1990s and early 2000s, including Newcastle's 5–0 victory over Manchester United on October 20, 1996.
Personal life
Daniel, Logan's 15-year-old brother, died of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in 1992. Logan has actively appealed for the Daniel Yorath Appeal, which raises money for the treatment and detection of the condition.
Jordan Yorath (born 1986) played football for England Universities in 2008 when he was attending Northumbria University in the final year of his planning and development surveying degree. Jordan was a young professional with Sheffield Wednesday and Halifax Town, as well as for Wakefield F.C. Louise (born 1974), Logan's sister, performed in Cirque Du Soleil's Zumanity, the resident cabaret-style performance at the Las Vegas Strip.

Early career
Logan began presenting on Metro Radio Newcastle, after university, from where she was first introduced to Sky Sports in 1996. She worked there until 1998, when she joined the ITV television network.
