Zachary Lewis Beck (born June 2, 1991), better known by his stage name Futuristic, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter.

He was born in Bloomington, Illinois, and now lives in Tempe, Arizona.

Since the debut of his album The Rise, as well as his single "The Greatest" in 2015, Futuristic gained fame.

Early life

On June 2, 1991, Zachary Lewis Beck was born in Bloomington, Illinois. Beck, one of eight children, started rapping when he was in the first grade with his brothers in a talent competition. When he was in fifth grade, his parents separated and he and his mother moved to Danville, Illinois. He later moved to Tempe, Arizona, and attended McClintock High School. Beck suffered with depression when his grandmother died, and he learned how to develop himself by listening to music.

Futuristic revealed his love to Paris Shantè Rodriguez on January 9, 2020 by cruising her on a cruise. On October 13, 2020, the pair married.

Futuristic's first music video, which was a remix of J. Cole's "Who Dat" on September 10, was released in September 2010. Futuristic's debut studio album, Dream Big, was released in February 2012, and his second studio album, Chasing Down a Dream, was followed in February 2013. The album was bolstered by Dizzy Wright and Jarren Benton's vocals on "Don't Mind If I Do" featuring vocals from Dizzy Wright and Jarren Benton. In September 2013, he threw in T.G.I.F. for his debut extended play.

On June 9, 2014, Futuristic debuted his third studio album, Traveling Local. Futuristic's fourth studio album, The Rise, was revealed on his website on March 1, 2015, with the release date of May 12. On March 14, Futuristic unveiled "The Greatest" his second single. The music video was released four days later and shows Futuristic dressed as a nerd rapping for people in his old school, McClintock High School. The song and music video were boosted after being cross-promoted by BigDawsTv's other video on the same day tilted "Nerd Raps Fast in Compton." The album was released on May 12, 2015 and debuted at number 139 on the US Billboard 200 chart, a record of sorts. The album debuted on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Rap Albums charts at number 13 and ten, respectively.

Futuristic will appear on "Hold Each Other" with A Great Big World in July 2015, with the music video revealing in September. The song will debut at number 99 on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming his first Hot 100 entry. The song will debut at number 69 on the Canadian Hot 100, making it a favorite.

Futuristic's remix of "Blasé," with New York singer and rapper Devvon Terrell on December 13, 2015, was released on December 13, 2015. They later announced that they would release "Coast 2 Coast," and that they would later announce that they would do various remixes of famous songs and dubbed them "12 Days of Christmas." The album was released on December 25, 2015, and on the US Billboard 200 chart, it ranked 82nd.

Futuristic's sixth studio album, Blessings, was released on December 25, 2017. Three singles were released: "Epiphany" featuring vocals from NF, "Get It Together" featuring vocals from Tech N9ne and Devvon Terrell, were among the album's supporter.

Futuristic's third extended play, Songs About Girls, debuted on February 14, 2018, as well as the singles "Wave" and "Forget It's Over." He continued to produce various singles over the year, including: "Nobody Else," "My Own Zone" with Tech N9ne and Dizzy Wright, and others.

Still on the Rise, Futuristic's ninth studio album, was released on May 12, 2020, which is a sequel to his 2015 album The Rise.
