It was confirmed that Season 3 would be the last one for the Vikings. Leo Suter and Sam Corcorta recast their roles in Netflix's first look

The voyages of Leif, Freyd, and Harald are coming to an end, but not before one last adventure. According to several publications, including Deadline, Netflix announced Vikings: Valhalla would end in the third season, which is expected to premiere in 2024. Netflix has created a series of first-look pictures that are a sure sign Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter), Leif Eriksson (Sam Corsson), and Freyd's Eirn (Frida Gustavsson) have some more high-drama tales to enjoy before heading off to the sunset. The historical drama, directed by Jeb Stuart, is a sequel to Michael Hirst-created historical drama Vikings (2013-2020), which aired on History Channel and Prime Video for six seasons. Valhalla begins with depictions of the St. Brice's Day massacre in 1002 and is expected to come to an end with the Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066.
