Lord of the Rings director Peter Robert Jackson has put $10 million toward a Texas startup company aimed at reviving extinct animals such as the dodo bird. The New Zealand-born filmmaker, 62, and wife Fran Walsh, 65, put the sum of money into the company Colossal Biosciences.

Lord Of The Rings star Elijah Wood was left stunned when a fan proposed to his girlfriend during a meet and greet with him at Comic Con in Columbia this week. The actor, 43, who famously played Frodo Baggins in the fantasy trilogy, joked there was 'no pressure' when the lady gasped seeing her partner drop to one knee. Beaming she instantly said 'yes' as Elijah threw his arms in the air and cheered while the couple sweetly embraced.
