Fern Saffron Deacon was born in Hampshire, England, on September 1, 1998. When she was five years old, her parents enrolled her in acting lessons, and she was accepted into Sylvia Young Theatre School at the age of 11.

Career

Deacon made her professional appearance debut in a stage performance of Kin at the Royal Court Theatre in 2011, and later that year, she appeared in a younger version of Electra in a version of Electra at the Gate Theatre. Deacon made her television debut in "Amy's Choice," an episode of BBC series Doctor Who. She appeared in three episodes of The Secret of Crickley Hall, a BBC supernatural drama.

Catherine Davis was portrayed by Deacon in Channel 4's Docudrama The Trial: A Murder in the Families, which premiered in May 2017. Chloe Voyle's role in the Channel 4 school drama Ackley Bridge began later this year. She first appeared in the CBBC's Hetty Feather as Agnes in the same month, a role she played until 2020. Lily Rattle appeared on BBC drama Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators in 2018.
