Ferlyn Wong (born February 1, 1992), better known by her stage name Ferlyn G, is a Singaporean singer, dancer, and actress.

She was born in South Korea and was a member of the Skarf, a South Korean girl group.

Ferlyn left Skarf in 2014 to prepare for her solo debut. Ferlyn was born and raised in Singapore and is fluent in both English and Mandarin as well as Korean after two years in South Korea preparing for her debut in Skarf.

On January 2, 2015, she debuted her debut EP, First.

Ferlyn revealed in 2015 that she will leave iGlobal Star to form her own label, GIF Music.

When Ghost Meets Zombie (2019), she made her debut in film When Ghost Meets Zombie (2019).

Early life

Ferlyn is the younger sibling of her family, born on February 1, 1992. She was a trainee at Ocean Butterflies International, where she performed backup dancing for JJ Lin, Rainie Yang, and Wang Lee Hom before auditioning for Alpha Entertainment. Ferlyn was also a business student at Temasek Polytechnic, and she had to drop from school after being accepted during the interview. She travelled to South Korea to prepare for her debut in a girl group.

She debuted in Skarf, a four-member girl group with another Singaporean member, Tasha, and two other Korean people after passing the audition.

Skarf debuted with Oh! on August 13, 2012. On August 17, 2012, danced and performed the song on KBS' Music Bank. Ferlyn appeared in a cameo appearance in Singapore's television series It Takes Two with other Skarf members.

On May 28, 2013 and May 31, 2013, Skarf's "Luv Virus" made their comeback, and the Luv Virus's music video was posted on their official YouTube channel.

Ferlyn will be out of SKarf and will debut a solo mandarin EP by 2015.

Ferlyn's debut EP, First, was released on January 2, 2015, after a string of teasers. Two Mandarin tracks and one Korean track are included in the EP. Mint From Tiny-G's Korean track, Luv Talk, features Mint from Tiny-G, who attended a press conference on the day of her release in Singapore's Atrium at Bugis+ and will promote her album in Korea, China, Taiwan, Thailand, and Malaysia.

Ferlyn left Alpha Entertainment in 2015 and co-founded GIF Music, an independent record label and artist management firm. Gif To You, a self-composed hip-hop single in English that was released digitally on November 17, 2015.

In 2018, it was announced that Wong was cast in a horror film called When Ghost Meets Zombie, playing in her first lead role. Nathan Hartono, a fellow singer, was paired with her. The film was released on February 14, 2019, and Warner Music Singapore's official theme song, "" was released on January 25th 2019. "" was her second single for the film on AC Music Entertainment's YouTube channel.
