Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Costumes Are Inspired by Her Most Memorable Looks

www.popsugar.co.uk, March 21, 2023
Taylor Swift is in her era of Queens of the United States. On March 17, the singer began her much awaited Eras Tour in Glendale, Arizona, debuting a variety of stunning looks for her three-hour set. Swift wanted outfits that would fit into her storytelling, with a huge catalogue to cover and 44 songs in the set list. Versace, Roberto Cavalli, and Oscar de la Renta, as well as Christian Louboutin for her custom boots, were all included in Versace's column. Swift's costumes were created to modernize some of her most memorable moments in fashion, according to Vogue. For example, stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer collaborated with Roberto Cavalli's Fausto Puglisi to produce a minidress dripping with sparkly gold fringe influenced by Swift's second album, "Fearless." To mark her "Reputation" time, he created embroidered snakes in a catsuit. Puglisi told Vogue, "It's more of a badass, rock and roll look."
