Faith Julia Goldy (born June 8, 1989), also known as Faith Goldy-Bazos, is a Canadian political commentator.

Goldy's views have been described as far-right or alt-right, white nationalist, and white supremacist.

She was a reporter for The Rebel Media and covered the 2017 Unite the Right protest in Charlottesville, Virginia.

In 2017, her employment was terminated after she appeared in an interview on The Daily Stormer, a neo-Nazi website. Goldy ran in the 2018 Toronto mayoral election, finishing third with 4.3 percent of the vote.

Goldy, along with other white nationalists and hate organisations, were banned from Facebook on April 8, 2019.

Early life and education

Goldy was born in 1989 and attended Havergal College, a private K-12 all-girls school in Toronto. She earned a double major in politics and history from Trinity College at the University of Toronto, and minored in philosophy, political science, and government. She also completed a Master of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Toronto School of Public Policy and Governance.

The University of Toronto Alumni Association granted her the Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award in 2012.

When Goldy was in elementary school, she and her younger sister and mother were merged into a duplex. In a 2007 radio interview, Goldy described her father as abused.

Goldy's classmates from Havergal College told New York Magazine's The Cut that she was a tumultuous adolescent with left-wing political convictions. As a student, she marched in favor of legalizing marijuana, conceived and appeared in a docudrama on the rights of sex employees, and presented a science report describing various aspects of birth control. Goldy appeared in the Laramie Project's school theatre production in her senior year in 2007.

Goldy has also registered for the Women Abuse Council, a domestic violence charity.

Goldy served as a director on the board of the Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Institute Foundation from October 7, 2015, until her resignation on May 30, 2017.

Faith Goldy Career

Career

Goldy's media career began when she appeared as a commentator on a Crossroads Television System commentary show hosted by Michael Coren.

After completing a mentorship program offered by the newspaper in 2008-09, she became a staff writer for The Catholic Register in June 2011. Around the same time as she began contributing columns to the National Post and appearing on panels hosted by Corus Entertainment's John Oakley Exhibition, she began contributing columns to the National Post and appeared on panels hosted by Corus Entertainment's John Oakley Show.

Goldy's first public appearance came in September 2012 when she was hired as a reporter with the Sun News Network, which lasted until the network went off the air in February 2015.

Her findings were based on a social conservative viewpoint that opposed abortion and gun control in Canada. During one segment of the Liberal Party's "extremist" views on abortion, she called on Pope Francis to excommunicate Justin Trudeau, a Roman Catholic, for the Liberal Party's "intolerant" views on abortion. Goldy and Coren condemned schools that were opening gender-neutral toilets for transgender students in another segment.

During this time, she began to appear on CFRB 1010 AM, co-hosted a ZoomerMedia presentation with Conrad Black, and briefly returned to The Catholic Register as a columnist.

When Sun News Network went off the air, Goldy was recruited by Rebel News, a right-wing newspaper founded by former Sun News Network Colleagues Ezra Levant and Brian Lilley. On The Hunt With Faith Goldy, she hosted a weekly political commentary show.

Paul Joseph Watson appeared on her show in 2015, and the two later said that Muslim immigrants in Europe had established No-goals to enforce Sharia law. This has been debunked.

Alexandre Bissonnette, 27, killed six people at a Quebec City mosque, two days after the shooter may have been a Muslim man, according to Goldy's conspiracy theory that the shooter may have been a Muslim man.

Goldy released a video of herself in Bethlehem in March 2017, where she expressed her surprise that she could hear the Islamic call to prayer in the city and said, "Bethlehem's Christian population has been ethnically cleansed." The video was branded irresponsible and inflamatory. It was also chastised for failing to mention that the mayor of Bethlehem at the time was a Palestinian Catholic woman named Vera Baboun, who has argued that policies promoting Israeli settlements had driven Christians out of the Palestinian territories.

In reaction to the Westminster attack in London, the same month, she had an episode titled "More Muslims = More Terrorism." She talked with Tommy Robinson, another Rebel News reporter and the founding of the English Defense League, during this episode.

"White Genocide in Canada" on May 31, 2017, Goldy's "White Genocide" on Rebel Media "White Genocide in Canada. "Candidates with European roots were replaced with non-Europeans as a result of Canada's immigration policy," she wrote. Many corporate entities have stopped advertising with Rebel Media as a result of the show.

On June 21, 2017, Goldy spoke at a live event in Toronto hosted by Rebel News and called for a "counter-crusade" against Muslims. "This is a holy war for Islam," she said in her address. They aren't only coming for our health care, right? They're going to break the cross" in a video shared by Rebel News. "It's Crusade O'Clock" is the word she used to describe her speech.

In August 2017, Goldy broadcast a livestream of the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, where Confederate monuments were withdrawn. Goldy mocked counter-protesters and alleged police mistrust against the alt-right demonstrators. Heather Heyer was killed in the car attack, which was also documented by Goldy's video.

Brian Lilley, a co-founder of Rebel Media, resigned after Goldy's broadcasts were announced on the website. Goldy issued a letter from white supremacist Richard Spencer as Lilley announced his resignation.

Goldy was fired by co-founder Ezra Levant after she appeared on the neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer's podcast, The Krypto Report. Levant said he told Goldy not to cover the Charlottesville rally, and that her appearance on The Daily Stormer was "just too far." The Stormer interview, Goldy later said, was "a poor call."

Goldy continued to campaign for far-right political convictions following her dismissal. She also began giving exclusive commentary to alt-right and white supremacist media outlets.

"We must ensure the survival of our people and a future for white children," Goldy's recited white supremacist David Lane's phrase, "We must ensure the survival of our people and a future for white people." When asked about her word use, she said, "I don't see it as controversial..." "We want to survive."

Patton, a crowdfunding website, was suspended in May 2018 and was barred from PayPal for the remainder of July as a result of reciting the phrase. She began getting contributions through a new crowdfunding platform, Freestartr. The same month, PayPal was deactivated on this site, leaving her in unable to receive payments.

When discussing book recommendations for her followers, Goldy praised Corneliu Zelea Codreanu, a Romanian politician who founded an ultranationalist and violently antisemitic group named the Iron Guard.

On September 8, 2018, Goldy supported The Turner Diaries on Twitter. The book, written by American Neo-Nazi and National Alliance founder William Luther Pierce, tells a fictional tale of a race war that has swept around the world and ended with the genocide of all non-white races. The book is credited with inciting the Oklahoma City Bombing and several hate crimes, and it has been outlawed in Canada.

A video narrated and written by Goldy for VDARE on March 2, 2020 called for the establishment of a "white ethnostate" in the United States. Lana Lokteff's Radio 3Fourteen is one of her appearances on Lana Loktef's program Radio 3Fourteen. She also gave her support to Golden Dawn, the Greek political party, which has been described as Neo-fascist and a Neo-Nazi party.

Goldy's YouTube channel had more than 91,200 subscribers as of August 2022. All of her videos have been taken down.
