The 20-year-old gunman who walked into a supermarket in Oregon and shot two people dead with an AR-15 on Sunday chronicled his mental decline, calling America a 'fake' land of the free, and laid out his plans for a massacre similar to the 1999 Columbine school shooting. Authorities discovered Ethan Miller, a former student of Mountain View High School in Bend, Oregon, dead inside the store as a result of his August 28th assault on a Safeway at the Forum Shopping Center. Miller sprayed bullets from his weapon in the parking lot before approaching the building and shooting one person dead in the entrance. Don Surrett, 66, a US Army veteran, and Glen Bennett, 84, a customer who happened to be at the store, have been named as Safeway employees. Surprisingly, he has been praised as a hero for attempting to wrestle the weapon away from Miller. Miller began stalking through the aisles and shot down a Bennett at the back of the store before turning his firearms on himself.
