Career
Miss Australia was titled Miss Australia in 2006, but topless photos of her has surfaced, and event co-ordinator Deborah Miller ordered that McNaught retain the honour. Later, it was decided that she should keep the title. In the Miss Universe 2006 competition, she was chosen from nineteen finalists to represent Australia. She had clothes made by Australian designers Wayne Cooper, Jayson Brunsdon, and Eliza Joy. However, McNaught caused more scandal because she did not have enough outfits to attend the formal event. She created a video diary of her experience with Nine Network's topical show A Current Affair. McNaught did not do well in the competition and did not make it to the final 20.
