Early life

She is Eliza Roberts' stepdaughter and the stepgranddaughter of David Rayfiel and Lila Garrett, who died in her father's marriage. She is the stepdaughter of singer Kelly Nickels through her mother's marriage. Grace is her younger maternal half-sister. Betty Lou Bredemus, her paternal grandmother, and Julia Roberts and Lisa Roberts Gillan, actresses, were among her aunts. During her youth, Roberts spent time on the set of her aunt Julia's films. These experiences ignited a desire to follow her father and aunts into the film industry. Her mother wished that her daughter had a normal childhood. She is of English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, German, and Swedish descent by her father.

Personal life

Kristina Jung, the daughter of Johnny Depp's character, was portrayed by actress Rebecca Johnson in the film (cocaine smuggler George Jung). She appeared in Leif Tilden's 10-minute short film, and was an uncredited extra in several scenes starring her aunt Julia Roberts in America's Sweethearts. Roberts continued to appear in two family films: in 2002's Grand Champion, as the niece of main character Buddy Buddy (Jacob Fisher), and in 2006's Spymate as the kidnapped daughter of former secret agent Mike Muggins, who needs to be rescued with the aid of a spy monkey. Grand Champion had a brief theatrical debut in August 2004, but Spymate was not announced until February 2006, when it was followed by its DVD release in April 2006.

Addie Singer, the lead character in the Nickelodeon sitcom Unie Singer's debut in September of this year, debuted in September of this year. Multiple Teen Choice Award and Young Artist Award nominations were given to Roberts during his sitcom appearances. Addie, a seventh grader, and her two closest friends were the subject of the series. It aired for three seasons (2004-2007). In addition, the show produced television movies, including The Perfect Moment. Also in 2004, Roberts guest appeared in "Honor Council," a Nickelodeon series starring Drake & Josh. Nickelodeon had considered launching Roberts on a musical career after she appeared on Uncanni. Roberts' debut album Unfabulous and More was released in 2005. Through Columbia Records and Nick Records, the album was released on September 27, 2005. It also served as the soundtrack to Roberts' television series Unfabulous, in which Roberts appeared. The album debuted on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums and Kid Albums charts, ranked number 46 and 10. "I Want to Be" and "Dummy" were two singles from the album in September 2005. Several original songs (among them "Dummy" and "I Wanta Be") were included in the album, as well as some of Addie's songs from the first season, "I Have Arrived" and "This Is Me" (which were co-written by Roberts), "Mexican Wrestler" (which had previously appeared on Jill Sobule's "The 66th Day" from Unfabulous), as well as "I Have Arrivedoutput:

Roberts performed "If I Had It My Way" on the soundtrack of the 2005 Disney film Ice Princess's soundtrack. Roberts wrote "Island in the Sun," which Weezer originally recorded in 2001; she produced the song for the Aquamarine soundtrack, in which she appeared as one of the leading actors. Roberts returned to big screen in 2006, starring Sara Paxton and singer JoJo in Aquamarine. For her role in the film, she received a 2007 Young Artist Award for Best Supporting Young Actress in a Feature Film. In its debut weekend, Aquamarine took fifth place at the box office, grossing $8 million. Roberts resigned as a journalist in Nancy Drew in early 2006. The film was released to theaters on June 15, 2007, grossing over $7 million in its first weekend, although critics were not particularly impressed. In 2007, Roberts was supposed to reunite with Nancy Drew director Andrew Fleming on both Rodeo Gal and a Nancy Drew sequel, but these films were never produced.

In a 2007 interview, Roberts said, "Right now I am concentrating on movies." I'm going to start a new movie this summer, so it's taking up a lot of my time. I believe it is definitely something I'd like to pursue when I'm a little older. "My musical career is on hold indefinitely," she said in another interview. I don't like people who sound like a "actor slash artist." People should go one or the other because you're not going to be good at both. You're going to be very good at one, so you might as well stick to the one you're most comfortable with. I'm going to act." Roberts was the lead in the film Wild Child, about a spirited teen from Malibu, California, who was escorted to a England boarding school. "Pretty much every typical spoiled-brat Malibu socialite who is sent off to a British boarding school," Roberts described her. Roberts was a new college graduate who works at an adult bookstore to make ends meet. She has said that the bulk of her lines were libbed, so her reactions in the film were completely true. Both Andrew O'Hehir of Salon and Stephanie Zacharek of The Village Voice both praised Roberts' appearance as "both breezy and carefully tuned." Amanda Barrington appeared in the animated comedy "No Country Club for Old Men" next month. Roberts appeared in the comedy film We're the Millers starring Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis. In Gia Coppola's debut, Palo Alto, based on James Franco's short story collection of the same name, Roberts played the lead role. On August 29, 2013, the film was released. Roberts' performance, in particular, received generally positive feedback. Much like the film itself."
