Eleanor Lucy V. Kendrick (born 8 June 1990) is an English actress best known for her role in Anne Frank's BBC documentary The Diary of Anne Frank, Ivy Morris's first series of the 2010 revival of Upstairs Downstairs and Meera Reed in HBO's Game of Thrones.

In World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, she also plays Taelia Fordragon.

Early life

Kendrick was born in London. She attended Dulwich College Preparatory School in Cranbrook, Kent, followed by Benenden School, also in Kent, and spent time with the National Youth Theatre. She began her BA in English Literature at the University of Cambridge in October 2009.

Kendrick appeared in Waking the Dead (2004), Doctors (2004), In 2 Minds (2004), Prime Suspect (2006), Lewis (2007), and The Final Act (2006), scripted by Nick Hornby and premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.

In the 2009 miniseries The Diary of Anne Frank, Kendrick played Anne Frank. "She said that her approach to playing Frank was to "peel back the layers of idolization and to think of the characters as normal people." "Bringing fresh realism to an iconic role," her appearance was praised.
