Woke books signed up by 'ideological fanatics' are resulting in commercial flops in the US according to industry experts and sales data alike. Among the contributors to major losses by publishers is a hotly anticipated memoir by the actor Eliot Page about his journey transitioning. 'Pageboy' sold for a $3 million advance but has sold just 68,000 copies. Industry insiders also blamed 'inexperienced' editors who have lost sight of the market for the flops.

Los Angeles elementary schools with students as young as five will participate in a weeklong celebration of 'National Coming Out Day' starting Monday. Part of the celebrations include an 'Identity Nap' activity that is aimed at teaching 'students to think critically about identity and intersectionality.' A 'Week of Action Toolkit - Elementary,' was sent from sent from the Los Angeles Unified School District's Board of Education to elementary teachers in the district. The toolkit reportedly outlines lesson plans that the district deems appropriate for elementary-aged students regarding LGBTQ + topics. The celebration is a stark contrast from their bicoastal counterparts in Florida which has all but banned LGBTQ+ conversations in schools , including some books.

The twins (pictured) who were born in London, moved to Malaysia in 2005 when they were three-years-old. The twins moved back to Britain, aged 10, with their parents and two elder sisters in 2012 to live in Watford and attended Watford Grammar School for Girls. Savita came out as gay in Year 9 in 2016 and as trans man in 2020 at the end of their A-Levels which they say brought them closer together than ever before.
