Family and early life
Mills was born in Manila, Philippines, and grew in the Ottawa, Ontario area. When she was eight years old, she began making home videos. Grace Helbig and Casey Neistat's YouTube videos inspired her to become a YouTuber in high school.
YouTube career
She had over 15,000 followers on YouTube at the start of 2017. After her coming-of-age videos went viral later this year, her channel gained followers quickly. In particular, her coming out video, in which she came out as bisexual, pushed her over the million-subscriber mark in November 2017.
Mills joined Fullscreen in June 2017 and they completed her first ever tour in the spring of 2018. Her channel at the end of 2017 had more than 915,000 viewers, and she had over 1 million by the end of 2017; in February 2018, she hit 1 million subscribers.
