Early life and education
Nordegren was born in Stockholm. Barbro Holmberg, a Swedish migration and asylum policy minister as well as the former governor of Gävleborg County, is her mother. Thomas Nordegren, her father, has been a Washington, D.C. bureau chief, and she has an elder brother, Axel, and a twin sister Josefin Nordegren. Nordegren and her sister worked in supermarkets as cashiers in order to fund their studies. She began modeling in 2000 and spent time on the cover of Cafe Sport magazine in the summer of 2000.
