Elena Vladimiro Temnikova (born 18 April 1985) is a Russian singer, television presenter, and fashion designer.
She rose to prominence as a contestant in the talent competition Star Factory and as one of three participants of the Russian girl group Serebro, which represented Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007.
Personal life
Born in Kurgan, she migrated to Omsk for a few months and then to Moscow due to professional commitments.
In 2004, Temnikova married Alexei Semyonov, who was also a contestant in Star Factory. Temnikova demanded divorce a few weeks after, but Semyonov refused to participate in it. Semyonov fell in love with another woman and then handed Temnikova divorce papers, and the couple officially divorced after four years of marriage.
In the Maldives, Temnikova secretly married entrepreneur Dmitry Sergeev. Alexandra, their daughter, was born on March 27, 2015.
In an interview with Temnikova's former bandmate Olga Seryabkina came out bisexual in a chat with the Russian tabloid Super in June 2019. Career
Temnikova began studying music when she was five years old; she was playing violin and singing in the choir. In 2003, she rose to national prominence as a contestant on Channel One's talent competition Star Factory.
Maxim Fadeev, the primary designer of Star Factory, found her and signed a recording deal with Fadeev's recording company Monolit Records.
Despite Temnikova's two disco singles, "Begi" and "Taina," she did not continue her solo career and did not debut a solo album. She then joined Sedbro, a girl group established by Fadeev. "After Star Factory, Maxim Fadeev offered me a new job," Temnikova said in a magazine called InStyle in February 2008. He invited me to be the lead singer of a girl band. I decided to do it, and we discovered the second and third members" together. The group also included Olga Seryabkina and Marina Lizorkina.
