Eion Francis Hamilton Bailey (EE-on); born June 8, 1976) is an American actor. He starred in Pvt.

David Kenyon Webster appeared in the films Band of Brothers, Center Stage, Mindhunters, and Sexual Life.

He appeared on the USA Network TV series Covert Affairs and played August (Pinocchio) in ABC's "Once Upon a Time."

In the CBS series Stalker, Ray, a psychopathic killer, appeared on a recurring basis. In 2011, Bailey married Weyni Mengesha, an award-winning Canadian theatre director.

Career

Bailey struggled in school before finding his passion in his high school's drama department. He was soon involved in every school production and then moved on to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. He attended Santa Barbara City College for a short time. He appeared in Almost Famous, portraying Jann Wenner. He was on stage, Fight Club, Catherine Jelski's The Young Unknowns, The Scoundrel's Wife, Seven and a Match, Renny Harlin's Mindhunters for Miramax, and Ken Kwapis' independent film Sexual Life. In 2005, he auditioned for Bruce Wayne's role in Batman Begins.

Dawson's Creek, HBO's highly acclaimed series Brothers starring Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, and HBO's original film And Starring Pancho Villa opposite Antonio Banderas are among his television appearances.

Bailey performed Equus at the Pasadena Playhouse, as well as Spoon River Anthology, Look Homeward, Angel, and Dinner at Eight at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Desire and I at the Access Theatre Santa Barbara and Icarus' Mother at the SBCC Studio Theatre.

Bailey received a Daytime Emmy for his efforts in Life of the Party in 2007. Bailey appeared on Dawson's Creek and ER as a regular guest actor.

In 2010, Bailey played a regular role in USA Network's Covert Affairs as Ben Mercer, Annie's ex-boyfriend who was being threatened by the CIA before returning to the Agency near the end of Season 1. Bailey performed on 30 Rock in 2011 as Anders, Liz Lemon's love interest who is "definitely not a Swiss prostitute who Martha Stewart recommended" as "not a Swiss prostitute that Martha Stewart recommended." Bailey first appeared on Once Upon a Time as August Booth in 2012.

Bailey appeared in "Traumatic Wound" on Law & Order as Frank Patterson, an Iraq war soldier with PTSD who has been a key witness in a sexual assault probe in a nightclub on May 1, 2013.
