Early life

Falco was born in Brooklyn, New York City, on July 5, 1963, the daughter of Judith Anderson, an actress, and Frank Falco, a jazz drummer who later worked for an advertising firm. Her father was of Italian descent, and her mother had Swedish, English, and Cornish (1/16th) roots. Joseph and Paul are her two brothers, as well as Ruth, her sister. Edward Falco, a novelist, playwright, and poet, is her uncle. Falco appeared on Who Do You Think You Are in 2012. One of her ancestors, a Cornish master mariner from Penzance who was born at sea and died in 1840, was the subject of the film.

Falco was born on Long Island, migrated with her family to Hicksville, then North Babylon, and finally West Islip. She appeared in plays at the Arena Players Repertory Theatre in East Farmingdale, where her mother also appeared. Her family moved to Northport, where she attended high school and appeared Eliza Doolittle in a production of My Fair Lady during her senior year. In 1981, Falco graduated from Northport High School. She completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting at State University of New York at Purchase in 1986.

Personal life

Falco was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003. She did not reveal the news until the following year, deciding not to announce it publicly. "One night of debauchery" has struggled with alcoholism and has turned sober in the early 1990s. "This cast, and especially the women in particular, really like to hang out and party," she said in an interview. It's seems that it's amusing.

And it was fun for me!

They spend more time without me than with me, according to my own choice. I'm always invited, and I'm usually up for two minutes and then leave because I can't live in that time. It's too risky." Alcoholics Anonymous' 12-step program is a leader in the movement.

Falco is a Buddhist devout. In 2005, she adopted a son and a daughter in 2008. She has been a vegan and has worked with PETA on various campaigns, including a public service alert urging parents to keep their children safe from the circus. "I think this is at the root of all bad in society," she told Parade magazine, "You can bring it right to cruelty to animals." If you don't have reverence for life of any kind, it will come out in more obvious ways."
