Dylan Muse Sprayberry (born July 7, 1998) is an American actor best known for his role as Clark Kent in the MTV series Teen Wolf, from 2014 to 2017.
Early life
Sprayberry was born in Houston, Texas, on July 7, 1998, and later attended West University Elementary. In a PBS public service announcement, he outlined his first acting role at the age of three. As a child, he continued to work in commercials and print.
Ellery Sprayberry, his sister, is an actress. Both children and their parents migrated to Los Angeles in 2006 in order to continue their education. In the midst of pursuing his education, he then attended Brighton Hall in Los Angeles.
Career
Sprayberry appeared in numerous comedy and drama television shows, including iCarly, Tracey Ullman's State of the Union, Criminal Minds, and Glee after relocating to Los Angeles. He also appeared in the films The Three Gifts opposite Dean Cain and Bedrooms, as the supporting actor. Clark Kent, the young Clark Kent, appeared in the 2013 film Man of Steel, the DC Extended Universe's first film starring Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Diane Lane, and Kevin Costner.
Sprayberry is best known for MTV's Teen Wolf, in which he appeared in Liam Dunbar from 2014 to 2017. He appeared on the program in a recurring role during the show's fourth season before being promoted to series regular for its fifth season, which premiered on June 29, 2015. He appeared with the Teen Wolf cast at Comic-Con before the show ended in 2017. In season 3, he first auditioned for the role of Young Derek, but he was too young at the time. Sprayberry amassed a large fanbase during his time on the show.
