Dustin Aaron Moskovitz (born May 22, 1984) is an American internet entrepreneur who co-founded Facebook with Mark Zuckerberg, Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, and Chris Hughes.

Early life
Moskovitz was born in Gainesville, Florida, and grew up in Ocala, Florida. He attended Vanguard High School, graduating from the IB Diploma Program. Moskovitz worked as an economics major at Harvard University for two years before joining Mark Zuckerberg in Palo Alto in order to work full time on Facebook.

Career
In February 2004, four people, three of whom were roommates—Mark Zuckerberg, Eduardo Saverin, Chris Hughes, and Dustin Moskovitz started Facebook in their Harvard University dorm room. It was originally intended as an online database of all Harvard's students in order to help residential students recognize members of other residences. Zuckerberg, Hughes, and Moskovitz took a year off from Harvard and relocated Facebook's base of operations to Palo Alto, California, where we recruited eight employees. Sean Parker followed them later. Moskovitz was the company's first chief technology officer and then vice president of engineering at Facebook.
Moskovitz revealed on October 3, 2008, that he had left Facebook to form Asana, with Justin Rosenstein, Facebook's engineering manager. Asana's aim is to increase the effectiveness of office workers by giving them with a system to plan and monitor projects and tasks. Moskowitz has been CEO, with Rosenstein now serving as Board Member and Advisor. Asana went public on September 25, 2020, at a market value of about $5.5 billion in a direct IPO. As of 2021, Asana has more than 107,000 paying customers. Both the application and the company have received numerous accolades.
