Donna Pescow (born March 24, 1954) is an American film and television actress and producer.

Annette is best known for her co-starring roles in the 1977 film Saturday Night Fever, Angie Falco Benson of the 1980s sitcom Out of This World, and Eileen Stevens in the Disney Channel sitcom Even Stevens.

Early life

Pescow was born in Brooklyn, New York, on March 24, 1954, to a Jewish family. Marty's father owned and operated a newsstand in downtown New York City at 17 Battery Place. Pescow attended Sheepshead Bay High School in Brooklyn and studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She appeared in a leading role in an Off-Off Broadway musical called Poor Old Fool, but it came to an end after only a few weeks.

Pescow appeared in Annette in the John Travolta film Saturday Night Fever in 1977. She had to recite her Brooklyn accent, which she had significantly reduced for career reasons, in order to prepare for the position. She was the third-place pick for New York Film Critics' Award for Best Supporting Actress for this role.

Pescow appeared on ABC's One Life to Live in 1977, portraying Celena Arquette. The role was brief, with less than a year, but it did help launch her television career, including appearances on two other ABC soap operas in later years.

Pescow played one of Judy Garland's older sisters in the television biographical film Rainbow, directed by Jackie Cooper in 1978.

In 1978, she appeared on Match Game as a celebrity panelist.

On ABC, Pescow starred in her own television series, Angie, which aired for two seasons from 1979 to 1980. Robert Hays, Debralee Scott, and Doris Roberts, her main castmates, appeared on a film.

Pescow appeared on the soap opera All My Children in 1982, the first lesbian on a daytime serial. Pescow landed Donna Garland in the first-run syndication children's comedy series Out of This World in 1987, costarring Maulan and Joe Alaskey, after her appearance on All My Children ended. She stayed with the show until its cancellation in 1991.

Pescow went on to a string of smaller roles before returning to prominent television roles after Out of This World ended. She appeared on the television series Dead Husbands (1998) and appeared on the shows Clueless, NYPD Blue, Pauly, and Ivory Tower.

Pescow played Gertrude Morgan, Chloe Morgan's evil aunt (Tava Smiley) on ABC's General Hospital from 1999 to 2001. Smiley was drafted out of her General Hospital job in 2001, and Pescow's character was sketched out. Pescow played a small part in the television film Partners and guest starred on the television program Philly during her time on GE.

Disney called Pescow in 1999 to discuss his participation in a half-hour youth sitcom on the network. In 2000, a pilot was shot in a film and went on to become Even Stevens. From 2000 to 2003, it appeared on Disney Channel for three seasons. She also narrated three episodes of the series, which later became a network flagship. Pescow and the remainder of the cast reassembles for the finale film The Even Stevens Movie after the series ended in 2003.

Pescow appeared in the film One Sung Hero starring Nicole Sullivan after being off the market for several years. She took a brief break from acting, but she did appear in a 2006 episode of Crossing Jordan. Donna Parisi, the wife of mobster Patsy Parisi, appeared in The Sopranos' series finale in 2007.
