DJ Hoppa Career

Musical career

In August 2004, DJ Hoppa's debut, To April From June, was released; Hoppa's friends funded the duplication costs of the album after being impressed by the album's quality. In 2005, not much was heard of him, but Bliss n Eso's Up Jumped the Boogie, which charted in Australia, was released. Avantgardening: Cultivating Food for Thought is his fourth album, which was released in September 2007 and was in collaboration with Mine+Us (pronounced minus). A second collaboration, this time with Sirah; Clean Windows Dirty Floors, was announced in 2007 and was praised for having "a winning combination of wit, humor, capability, and perspective." Volume One, Hoppa's next album, was an album released under the name of "Hop & Pop" and was created in collaboration with General Populous.

In 2009, he released Network Networth, his second solo album, which included his hit single Up Jumped the Boogie. On Day By Day, he began a new partnership with Mine+Us. The following year, "DJ Hoppa Presents Cleen and General Populous: Cleen Populous" was released as a result of a year of Cleen and General Populous.

Hoppa singles were introduced in 2011. In February 2011, Pretending starring Max Star and Intuition was released as a single. In addition, Hoppa released Sirah's "God's Grace" in March 2011. In June 2011, Dirtbag Dan and Abel Abilities were a single, and "You're a 6" featuring Dirtbag Dan and Abel Abilities was released as a single.

Hoppa and Mine-Us released Everything Is A-Okay, their third collaboration album, urging listeners to stop listening and look forward among the jack noise that might be on their way. It's a good beat accompanied by tried and true rhymes. The video features a rugged outfit with glitchy footage of Mine+USA raping his verses."

Hoppa collaborated with Self Provoked in 2013 to release The Decade, which was described as "chopped up stylings of Self Provoked in remembrance of DJ Hoppa's ever-dote bangers." From the album, Dizzy Wright's single "All Falls Together" was released.

He has appeared on Immortal Technique, Ghostface Killah to Kid Sister, and Crystal Method.
