Koen Bauwerts (born 30 May 1983), also known by his stage name Coone, is a Belgian hardstyle producer and DJ.
Career
In 1998, Coone began producing at the age of 15. "Protect The Innocent" is his first EP on record. He burst out on the scene with "Eating Donuts," a Blur remix of "Song 2." He founded Dirty Workz, which produced Jump and Hardstyle music in 2006, but since 2015, he has been more involved in the label's operation, which is now primarily based on Hardstyle. In addition,, he has been featured in DJ MAG's Top 100 DJs with his first entry at #41 in 2011.
Coone has worked with many well-known musicians over the years, and in 2014 co-signed with Dim Mak Records (Steve Aoki's label) for upcoming music in co-operation with Dirty Workz.
In 2013, Coone teamed up with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike to produce "Madness," a festival hit that featured vocals from Lil Jon and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, which was released on Dim Mak Records. Coone had more Coone appearances on Dim Mak Records in the run-up to his album "Global Dedication" (which was first released in November 2013). In January 2014, Coone coproduced "Can't Stop The Swag" with Steve Aoki and created a remix for Linkin Park X Steve Aoki "A Light That Never Comes."
"Global Dedication," Coone's monthly podcast, was launched in 2015. In the top 100 DJs, Coone ranked #49, making him the highest ranked Hardstyle DJ in the program.
Less Is More, Coone's album, was released in 2016.
He was the first hardstyle artist to perform on Tomorrowland's mainstage in 2018.
