Dilraba was born in Urumqi, Xinjiang, China, on June 3, 1992.

When she was nine years old, her parents took her to Xinjiang Art Middle School to take the entrance exam. She assumed it was an interest class at the time. When she received an invitation from the school, she realized she would be attending a dance class for the next six years.

She graduated from the Xinjiang Arts Institute in 2007 and became a member of the Xinjiang Song and Dance Troupe.

She attended Northeast Normal University in Jilin for a year in 2009. She took third place at a local singing competition during this period.

She joined the Shanghai Theatre Academy's performance department in 2010, specializing in drama, film, and television. In the same year, she auditioned for director Lu Chuan's latest film The Last Supper.

Dilraba made her acting debut in Anarhan's television drama in 2013, playing the lead role. At the 30th Flying Apsaras Awards, the drama was recognized for Outstanding Television Series.

She joined Jay Walk Studio in 2014 and appeared in the company's web series V Love. Dilraba also gained acclaim for her role as Fuqu in the hit fantasy drama Swords of Legends this year.
