Diego Ferney Zamora (born April 5, 1986) is a Colombian-American footballer who plays for the Portland Timbers of Major League Soccer.

Career
Chará started his career in Deportes Quindo's youth department. In 2004, he stepped up to the senior team and became a key figure for Quindo. Quindo's athletic midfielder made 124 league appearances and scored two goals. He began to attract the attention of the top clubs in Colombia and then joined América de Cali in 2009. America Chará played in 31 league appearances and scored 1 goal in one year. He joined Deportes Tolima in the 2011 Copa Sudamericana and was a key player in his club's run to the quarterfinals. He helped Tolima qualify to the 2011 Copa Libertadores in the following season. During the 2011 Copa Libertadores Chará, I played in seven games and helped with a 2-0 victory over Brazilian power Corinthians in the early stages of the tournament.
Chará's name was gaining attention from Major League Soccer side Portland Timbers as a result of his participation in the Copa Libertadores run. Chará signed with Portland in April 2011 and became the club's first ever Designated Player.
He scored his first goal in Major League Soccer in 78 seconds against Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Cascadia Cup opponents. It set a new record for the club's fastest MLS goal.
Chará has been capped twice by the Colombian national team. Chará played his first game for Colombia in a friendly match against Peru on November 18, 2010.
