Rosemarie Joy Garcia-Smith, better known by her stage name Diana Zubiri (born April 15, 1985), is a Filipino actress.

She was discovered by Seiko Films 15 years after applying for Japan for work.

She appeared in a variety of films by Seiko since being portrayed as a child in a variety of films.

After posing on the roof of the EDSA–Shaw flyover in Mandaluyong City wearing only a two-piece bikini in October 2002, Zubiri became well-known in the Philippines.

The photo shoot for FHM Philippines sparked controversy and prompted then Mayor of Mandaluyong City, Benhur Abalos, to press charges against Zubiri and FHM, but it was later dropped after an apology.

Divina was one of her best known appearances in the Encantadia fantasy film Linlang and Danaya.

She was also a regular cast member of Bubble Gang's sketch comedy franchise, as well as appearing in drama series, including Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita, Danny Zialcita's Gaano Kadalas Minsan. Nita Negrita and Prince Eduardo Negrita. After nine years of being on the GMA Network, she moved to ABS-CBN, a rival network, and signed a three-year exclusive deal.

Zubiri attempted several times at ABS-CBN's Talent Center before heading to Japan, but she was turned down several times.

In 2015, she returned to GMA Network, her home network.

Personal life

Zubiri's father left her and her elder sister when she was eight years old. They were taken care of by her mother, who owned a sari-sari store in Olongapo. The family later moved to Fairview, Quezon City, and rented a house, where Zubiri stayed during her younger years. Her mother remarried and gave birth to a baby that became Zubiri's halfsister.

Zubiri was a member of the Iglesia ni Cristo but she later converted to Roman Catholicism during a brief period of her show business career. Miriam College's theatre arts program was announced in 2012. Zubiri married Andy Smith, her longtime boyfriend, in New Manila, Quezon City, on May 10, 2015. Aliyah Rose, their daughter, was born on August 14, 2016.

Zubiri made a name for herself in Bubble Gang, a sketch comedy television series, after a few sexy films. Danaya, the diwata that holds the Jewel of the Earth, appeared in Encantadia. She played Etheria and Encantadia in the Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas in later years.

On Asian Treasures, Zubiri appeared as "Ingrid" with Angel Locsin, Robin Padilla, and Marvin Agustin. She was also a cast member of GMA Network's Bubble Gang and Wendell Ramos, co-starring Bubble Gang.
