Dennis Jonathan Alas Morales (born in San Salvador on January ten years ago) is a Salvadoran association footballer who plays as a midfielder for Santa Tecla, Mexico. He is the older brother of El Salvador national team member Jaime Alas.
Club career
Pitbull, nicknamed Pitbull, Alas, came from Academia La Chelona's youth ranks and joined San Salvador, F.C. In 2001, there was no such thing as a tyrant in the United States.
Alas trained with MLS Chivas USA in preparation for a future transfer to the United States after sparking excitement with his Gold Cup appearance, creating the possibility of a transfer. Nothing came of this and he returned to El Salvador. Dennis Alas had signed a one-year deal with Real Maryland F.C., according to an announcement on December 27, 2007. Real Maryland F.C. reported it on July 14, 2008. Dennis Alas' deal was terminated by mutual agreement with the player. In the 3-2 victory over Cleveland, the Salvadoran international played a total of 14 games and scored three goals and was also named to the USL-2 team of the week twice, with one of the week's top players named on the week's list. From his former club San Salvador, F.C., the Salvadoran was on loan to Real Maryland.
He became free when the capital club was relegated to El Salvador's second division due to a clause in his deal. Alas jumped at the chance to represent Salvadoran champions C.D. Lungel Firpo is a player who plays for the Xirpo.
Alas joined KF Feronikeli in September 2014 due to the Football Superleague of Kosovo not being recognised by FIFA. Cristian Castillo and José Henrquez, two Salvadoran players, joined Zeravani SC in the Kurdish Premier League, a league that also is not recognized by FIFA, although Ramón Sánchez later joined Zakho FC of the same league.
International career
Alas made his El Salvador debut in a friendly match against Mexico in October 2001 and has a total of 63 caps, scoring 3 goals. He has represented his country in seven FIFA World Cup qualification matches and appeared at several UNCAF Cups, as well as in the 2007 and 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cups.
El Salvador defeated Trinidad and Tobago on the night of June 7, 2007, giving the team their first victory of the 2007 Gold Cup campaign. Alas was named by Univision as the Miller Light Player Of The Match that night.
