Diane Margaret Payne (born 29 August 1954) is an English actress and former singer best known for her appearance in ITV's Emmerdale. Payne was born in Orpington, Kent.
She appeared on tour with ex-Animals keyboard player Alan Price as a back up singer, and she was a member of the British novelty girl band "Luton Airport" in October 1979, who received a UK top 30 hit with "Luton Airport."
She was also one of the dancers in 77's Rock Follies.
