Career

Thibault became fascinated in Elvis thanks to his grandfather. In December 2013, he gained national interest as a 16-year-old on a back cover of Elvis Presley's "Blue Christmas." After the radio station CKOI-FM uploaded it to YouTube on December 9, 2013, it went viral with nearly five million video views in less than a week.

Thibault appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show on December 23, 2013.

Thibault qualified for season 4 of the talent show The Voice: la plus belle voix on French television and advanced to the finals. From November 2014 to January 2015, 16 episodes were recorded in France and were broadcast every Saturday evening from January 10, 2015 to April 25, 2015. Thibault's blind audition, during which he performed Elvis Presley's "Blue Suede Shoes," was broadcast on January 24, 2015; Florent Pagny was the only coach to turn around. Thibualt won the battle against Olympe Assohoto and Ketlyn, with whom he sang Johnny Hallyday's "La Musique que j'aime" under Pagny's direction, in the episode broadcast on March 7, 2015.

During the 11th episode, which was broadcast on March 21, 2015, and still under Pagny's supervision, he performed The Temptations' 1964 hit song "My Girl." He lost to Anne Sila, but coach Mika was allowed to bring Thibault to his own team. Mika is the 2015 coach with the most successful number of records around the world. Thibault performed Avicii's 2013 hit song "Wake Me Up" during the 13th episode, which was broadcast on April 4, 2015 and under Mika's guidance. The majority of the viewing audience had him keep the match, as did teammate Hiba Tawaji. Coach Mika saved a 3rd contestant, but the team's 4th contestant was disqualified from the tournament.

i.e. during the 14th episode. All 12 contestants performed a song chosen by the viewing audience during the quarter-finals broadcast on April 11, 2015. "Close to Me," Thibault's 1985 hit "Close to Me." The watching audience saves Tawaji, and Mika saves him. I.e. during the 15th episode of the series. Thibault performed "Crazy in Love" in Beyoncé's 2003 album "Crazy in Love" during the semi-finals broadcast on April 18, 2015. Carson Parks' "Somethin' Stupid" was performed on Tawaji by Tawaji. Both the watching audience and coach Mika were chosen, but Tawaji was ruled out.

i.e. during the 16th and final episode. Thibault performed Michael Jackson's "Black or White," imitating the former's legendary moonwalk, before a duet with French pop singer Véronique Sanson on "On m'attend là-bas" was performed. He ended with a duet with his mentor Mika, who interpreted "Your Song," Elton John's first hit single in 1970. This time, only the (French) viewing audience voted. Lilian Renaud, the French singer, gained 52% of the votes, female French singer Anne Sila finished second with 34% of the votes, Thibault came third with 9% of the votes, and French singer Côme received 5% of the vote. According to a press release, the finals talks took place with record companies on the day of the broadcast of Thibault's first album.

Thibault was among the 3 finalists and the four semi-finalists of The Voice: la belle voix in France. From May 29 to July 4, 2015, the tour took place in 18 French towns. On June 27, he appeared at the Zénith de Paris. Thibault was also scheduled to tour Quebec in May and July 2015 and then appear at the Salle Albert-Rousseau in Quebec on November 29, 2015.
