On Thursday evening, Rachel Brosnahan posted a clip from the first day of filming for the forthcoming DC Comics-based film Superman. In the clip, the 33-year-old actress stood between her costar Nicholas Hoult, who has shaved his head for the role of Lex Luthor, and David Corenswet, who is supposed to portray the Man Of Steel, and the two actors legged into the audience until the clip ended. In her post's caption, the actress, who will portray Lois Lane in the much-anticipated film, wrote a tongue-in-cheek message: 'A supervillain, a journalist, and an alien walk into a bar...'

The 57-year-old filmmaker had originally called the film Superman: Legacy, but it had now been announced that the film will be called simply Superman.
