Early life and family
Masterson was born on Long Island, New York, the son of Carol, a producer, and Peter Masterson, an insurance agent. He grew up in Garden City and East Williston, New York. He has a brother, actor Christopher Masterson, who appeared on Malcolm in the Middle. Their maternal half-siblings, Jordan Masterson and Alanna Masterson, are also actors. Will Masterson, his paternal half-brother, has also been born.
Personal life
Masterson is a Scientologist. In 2004, he began dating Bijou Phillips, who got engaged in 2009 and married on October 18, 2011. They have one daughter who was born in February 2014.
Career
Masterson, a child model who appeared in magazine papers and television commercials as well as television commercials starting at age 5, began acting as a child and began acting as well.
