Danny Bonaduce Life

Dante Daniel Bonaduce (born August 13, 1959) is an American actor, comedian, radio host, television presenter, and professional wrestler.

Bonaduce is the son of veteran television writer and producer Joseph Bonaduce (The Dick Van Dyke Show, One Day at a Time, and others).

Bonaduce appeared on the television sitcom The Partridge Family in 1970s as a child actor from the 1970s.

Danny Partridge, the wisecracking, redheaded middle son of the singing family band (headed by Shirley Jones), co-starred with the fictional pop band's bass guitar player. Since then, Bonaduce has appeared in numerous other television programs, including the VH1 reality show Breaking Bonaduce in 2005, radio shows in Los Angeles and Philadelphia, and has been hosting a morning talk/music program at Seattle radio station KZOK-FM since November 14, 2011.

Early life

Bonaduce grew up in a dysfunctional family and suffered significant physical and emotional abuse at the hands of his father, TV writer, and producer Joseph Bonaduce, while his mother Betty could only sit by helplessly.

Personal life

In karate, Bonaduce has a black belt.

In 1985, Bonaduce married Setsuko Hattori, his first wife, and they divorced in 1988.

Bonaduce's second wife Gretchen Hillmer married on a blind date on November 4, 1990, on a whimsy. Despite the early start to the marriage, the two couples were married for more than sixteen years and had two children together. The two couples divorced on April 9, 2007, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason.

Amy Railsback, Bonaduce's current wife, began dating him in April 2007. They met at a Starbucks in the Los Angeles area. Railsback, who is 23 years old, is a former substitute school coach. On truTV, she now directs Bonaduce's career, runs Gravel Tones Productions Inc,, and appears in sketches on The Smoking Gun Presents: World's Dumbest: The World's Dumbest. In March 2009, he proposed to Amy, and the couple married on November 22, 2010 at the Four Seasons on Maui, Hawaii. They have owned homes in Los Angeles and Seattle.

Bonaduce and David Cassidy, he and his family's Costar, were close friends before Cassidy's death on November 21, 2017. Bonaduce attended Cassidy's memorial service in Los Angeles on January 20, 2018. On the set of The Partridge Family, Bonaduce also met actress Shirley Jones. Bonaduce was often compelled to live at her house in order to avoid his difficult household life. Bonaduce was "smart" and "talented," but a troublemaker off-camera, who "was still a kid" and would do kid activities like get a dish of food and toss it across the room or even a pillow fight," Jones said. "Shirley Jones may not have been kinder to me," Bonaduce later remarked.

He was arrested in Daytona Beach, Florida, on March 9, 1990, while attempting to buy cocaine. Bonaduce was invited to host an event in Washington, D.A.R.E., which was an anti-drug movement aimed at youth. Bonaduce was eventually dropped from WEGX, but it was later dismissed. He later became KKFR-FM in Phoenix, Arizona, as the morning shift DJ.

Bonaduce was arrested in Phoenix on March 31, 1991 for beating and robbing Darius Barney, a transvestite sex worker; "prosecutors say the perpetrator had a broken nose and a cut to his face." He was dismissed from KKFR immediately after. Bonaduce pled guilty to reduced charges in July of the same year. He was ordered to pay Barney's medical bills as part of his parole. Bonaduce returned to WEGX in Philadelphia later this year.

During guest appearances, Bonaduce has generally endorsed his more conservative political views. He is a major promoter of capital punishment and a robust military. Bonaduce's remarks that Jane Fonda should have been shot for treason for her work in favor of the North Vietnamese Army and Viet Cong during the Vietnam War have sparked several controversial remarks, such as his assertion that she should have been shot for treason. "I think personally, I think Rosie should be strung up for treason," Rosie O'Donnell said on MSNBC's Scarborough Country.
