Daniel Willis Life

Daniel Willis, born 8 April 1954 (Herberton) is an Australian clergyman who spent the bulk of his adult life in Sydney's Anglican Diocese.

Willis founded Leading Global Impact, an organization committed to leadership growth amongst the country's top politicians, whether nationally or internationally.

He was appointed CEO of Bible Society NSW [2] (October 2001) and oversaw the organization's dramatic transition until July 2010.

In 2004, he was also appointed as the International Deputy Director for the South Pacific Region [3] (Oceania) of the Lausanne Movement [4].

He has worked in both industry and ministry since moving to Sydney in 1972.

Early education and early years

Willis, who already had a Bachelor of Commerce degree, studied Theology at Moore Theological College, graduating in 1987 with a Bachelor of Theology from the Australian College of Theology and the college's own Diploma of Arts in Ministry. He also holds a Master of Education in Religious Education from the University of South Australia.

Willis worked with Arnott's Biscuits exporting product around Asia Pacific and the Middle East in his earlier life. He studied Information Technology and worked for Blue Metal Industries, which is now owned by Boral, and before entering Moore College, he spent 2 years at United Data Center.
