Career

In Francisco el Matemático, Arenas' first television appearance was made. In 2005, he competed in the Telenovela Los Reyes, playing Santiago Iriarte, earning him a nomination for the India Catalina Awards in the category of Best Actor. He appeared in the telenovela La sucursal del cielo in 2008, portraying Samuel Lizcano, a Air Force pilot.

Arenas' debut in Televisa was in Teresa, marking his first telenovela in Mexico. He has also worked in Amorcito Corazón, which was also produced by Lucero Suárez, with Elizabeth lvarez, Diego Olivera, and Africa Zavala. Arenas made his debut in theater with "Hercules the Musical" in 2012, where he portrayed Hercules, the Greek mythology hero, alongside Violeta Isfel and Miguel Pizarro. In 2013, he starred as protagonist in the telenovela Corazón Indomable, a remake of Marimar, directed by Nathalie Lartilleux, where he worked with Ana Brenda Contreras.

In the 2014 telenovela La Gata with Maite Perroni, Erika Buenfil, and Laura Zapata, Arenas once more collaborated with Nathalie Lartilleux.

In the tenth season of Nuestra Belleza Latina, Arenas served as a judge.
