Music career

Rumble began as the co-founder, author, and co-producer of New Zealand Hip-Hop band Fast Crew in 1999. Their debut single "I Got" debuted at number four in the RIANZ New Zealand Singles Chart, and their debut album Set the Record Straight reached number 11 on the Album Chart. "It's the Incredible" and "Suburbia Streets are two other top ten hits on the album, with "It's the Incredible" and "Suburbia Streets." Truth, Lies & Red Tape, the pair's second album, was released in 2008. The organization disbanded amicably with Rumble's attempt to pursue a solo career in early 2009. He describes his music as "a brand new New Zealand sound."

Dane is a resident of Sydney and has travelled extensively both Australia and New Zealand.

Rumble's first solo album "Always Be Here" debuted in March 2009. The track debuted on the RIANZ New Zealand Singles Chart at number 33 and reached its high point at number 13. The single was later designated as gold for the selling of over 7,500 copies digitally. In July, a second single, "Don't Know What to Do," was released, and the single, supported by New Zealand On Air, reached number 10 on the charts, becoming his first top ten single as a solo artist.

In November, a third single named "Cruel" was introduced and debuted at number 17 on the New Zealand singles chart, with a third single titled "Cruel" debuting. Cruel has since climbed to number three on his third straight top 20 single, and on top of that, the track has been rated platinum with sales over 15,000. Rumble performed on both the 'Coca Bands on Beach Tour' and 'The Woah Oh Tour' during the summer of 2009/10 with Martin Stevenson.

The Experiment, Rumble's debut solo album, was released on March 29, 2010. The album debuted on the New Zealand Albums Chart at number one. The following single was released in April and has sold out. On the chart, 20 is the highest position.

The pair collaborated 'Takes Me Higher', which debuted at Number Two on the New Zealand Singles Chart ahead of Dane Rumble's 'The Experiment Tour' with J.Williams.

In August, the official launch of 'Always Be Here' in Australia was announced. Dane was the No. 1 in the United States. The week of the single release of 1 breakthrough act on Australian radio.

'What Are You Waiting For?'

It was the fifth single in New Zealand to be released digitally on August 30th.

Rumble was nominated for six New Zealand Music Awards in September 2010. Gin Wigmore, a pop singer, has received the same number of awards as well as pop singer Gin Wigmore.

Rumble embarked on a trip to the United States and the United Kingdom to begin recording his second album after being away for a short time from touring and recording duties. Manuel Seal Jr., a writer and novelist, as well as Dutch songwriter Louis Schoorl, are among the many writers and writers who have collaborated with him.

"Lights Go Out," Rumble's lead single from his yet to be announced second studio album, Exodus, was released on March 26, 2012.
