Danay Garca (born 5 July 1984) is a Cuban actress and model.
She is best known for her appearances on Fox's drama series Prison Break (2007–2009) and Luciana Galvez on AMC's horror drama series Fear the Walking Dead (2016–present).
Career
When she was 17. She was playing the lead role in Maria Antonia, by Eugenio Hernandez Espinosa, in a Havana theatre production. Garca began learning English in the United States by working with teachers and dialect coaches. She began booking businesses. She began ballet lessons at the Debby Allen Dance Academy while still working on her acting studies. Garca performed in Danika opposite Marisa Tomei in her first US feature film role.
Garca moved to CSI: New York and CSI: Miami, where she received her first break as a series regular, Sofa Lugo, in the Golden Globe Award winning Fox television series Prison Break. Garca made it through multiple rounds of auditions for Bond Girl Camille Montes in MGM and Eon Productions' Quantum of Solace, but she had to be barred due to a clause in her Fox contract.
