Dan Abrams (born May 20, 1966) is an American web entrepreneur and television presenter who serves as the chief legal affairs anchor for ABC News, host of Live PD on the A&E cable network, and hosts The Dan Abrams Show: Where Politics Meets The Law on SiriusXM's P.O.T.U.S. channel.
Abrams is the current host and executive producer of Court Cam a Law&Crime Production airing on A&E in December 2019.

Early life
Daniel Abrams was born in Manhattan; he is Jewish, the son of Efrat and well-known attorney Floyd Abrams, an expert on constitutional law. He is a 1984 graduate of Riverdale Country School. Abrams received his B.A. cum laude in political science from Duke University in 1988. While at Duke, he anchored newscasts on the student-run channel Cable 13 and was vice president of the student body. Abrams received a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
Personal life
In June 2012, Abrams had his first child with girlfriend Florinka Pesenti, who was part of the winning team on The Amazing Race 3. They had a daughter in 2021.
Abrams was a co-owner with David Zinczenko of the restaurant The Lion in Manhattan's Greenwich Village neighborhood. The Lion closed in 2015.
Abrams's sister, Ronnie Abrams, was nominated for a federal judgeship by Barack Obama in 2011. She received her commission on March 23, 2012.
In 2021 Abrams purchased Laurel Lake Vineyards on Long Island's North Fork, which he relaunched in Summer 2021 under a name inspired by his two children, Ev&Em Vineyards.
Career
Abrams served as a reporter for court television from May 1994 to June 1997, where he covered the O. J. Simpson case, the International War Crime Tribunal from the Netherlands, and Michigan's assisted-suicide trials of Dr. Jack Kevorkian.
Abrams worked as a general assignment reporter for NBC News from 1997 to 1999, at which time he was named Chief Legal Correspondent. Abrams hosted his own show at MSNBC, and The Abrams Report debuted in 2001. Before he accepted the lead managerial position at MSNBC, Abrams hosted The Abrams Report. From June 12, 2006 to October 2007, Abrams was the General Manager of MSNBC. Abrams was forced to concentrate on his programme Live with Dan Abrams, which was replaced Scarborough Country due to Joe Scarborough's transfer to mornings. This program would eventually be renamed Verdict with Dan Abrams, who aired until August 21, 2008. Rachel Maddow, the presenter of MSNBC, announced on August 19, 2008, that she would take over the time slot beginning in September 8, 2008. Abrams assumed additional responsibilities with NBC News, including substituting as an anchor on the Today show.
Abrams left NBC to become ABC News Chief Legal Analyst and a backup anchor on Good Morning America in March 2011. Gossip Cop, a media monitoring service that monitors the celebrity gossip universe, was launched by Abrams and Michael Lewittes on July 29, 2009. Rex Sorgatz, the site's designer, has referred to it as "TMZ meets Smoking Gun." According to a 0–10 scale, gossip rumors are rated on a 0-10 scale. The website attracted over 8 million unique visitors in the month of May 2013. Gateway Blend purchased Gossip Cop in 2019 and launched it in 2019.
Abrams founded Mediaite, a news website that he characterized as "appreciating the celebrity of the media." The website mixes editorial content with analytic analysis of media personalities. It attracted over 7 million unique visitors per month in mid-2015.
Geekosystem was launched on January 25, 2010. Following advances in science, electronics, and internet memes and internet culture, Geekosystem covered "geek" culture. On launch, Abrams described the website as "a larger interest portal that will celebrate and cover everything from technology and science fiction to video games and comics."
Styleite, Abrams' foray into fashion, debuted on March 25, 2010. Abrams Media launched The Mary Sue, a sister website to Geekosystem with the intention of "highlighting women in the geek world and ensuring a central location for geek women." Abrams converted Geekosystem into The Mary Sue in 2014, reflecting the company's rapid growth and high engagement. The Mary Sue was purchased by Gamurs Group in November 2021.
Abrams' website, which was launched in May 2012, concentrated on chefs' personalities and lifestyles. Abrams launched LawNewz, a legal news website that also broadcasts trials as part of its online network, in 2016. LawNewz was rebranded to Law&Crime on November 13, 2017 and is available on most OTT platforms and many cable television packages in the United States.
Abrams' latest media product, Ambo TV, a Christian television streaming service, was "dedicted to broadcasting Christian sermons with an in-studio discussion" on October 15, 2018. In November 2018, it was confirmed that the service would be open to the public. The station will be located at new studios built specifically for Ambo TV at Abrams Media Studios in Herald Square, New York City, and will have live broadcasting on weekends.

Barnes retaliated by suing Roosevelt for a huge sum that may have financially devastated him.
John Adams Under Fire: The Founding Father's Fight for Justice in the Boston Massacre Murder Trials was released on March 3, 2020, making it a New York Times bestseller. In 1770, British soldiers shot and killed five civilians, according to the book. "The beginning of American freedom was born on that night," John Adams will later recall. However, when the British soldiers went on trial, the young solicitor Adams was steadfast that they were given a fair one.
