Early life

McBride, who was born January 2, 1996, is a student at the Knoxville, Tennessee. She was first introduced to music through a church, where she would often perform in the choir and play the violin and piano. She burst into the Hip-Hop/Rap scene at the age of ten, but instead she gifted her father something for Father's Day. "Your gift is God's gift to you," she began to believe more, and what she does with it is your gift back to God." In 2014, McBride graduated from Harden Valley Academy in Knoxville, Tennessee. She is presently enrolled at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) for her Bachelor's in Music Business.

She earned the nickname "The Rap Girl" as a child who was always freestyling in the lunch room, despite being referred to as "The Rap Girl." The success came after she began posting "freestyle videos" on YouTube in 2011. Around 2015, she achieved renown internet fame thanks to, at the time, Twitter's upgrade for uploading videos, as well as Instagram and Vine videos. Nicki Minaj, Kehlani, and Missy Elliot, who has since been identified, are among her main inspirations. To date, McBride has released 2 EPs. "The Come Up" was her first EP, which was released after her rapid social development in 2015. "The Journey," her most recent EP, was released in 2017, which features her single "Mood," which was produced by Big Bruno. The EP also features work from The Cratez, Donato, and Big Bruno.
