Career
D Double E has been around for more than 20 years, beginning with stints in jungle and UK garage music. He was a DJ in the mid-1990s and went by the name DJ Dan. Along with Terror Danjah and DJ Tempo, D Double was in a crew called Bass Inject at the time. Terror and D Double E joined the Reckless Crew, a drum and bass group that appeared on Rinse FM in 1998. RWD. He was a member of the early grime collective N.A.T. Crew until he resigned in December 2003 after a feud. He and Monkstar and Footsie formed the company Newham Generals in Newham, Newham. The group, which includes D Double E and Footsie, is still operating as a team. He and the Newham Generals have signed to Dizzee Rascal's Dirte Stank brand.
"Street Fighter Riddim," "Bluku, Bluku," "Bad 2 tha Bone," "Lovely Jubbly," and "Wolly" are among D Double E's collections as a solo artist.
