She is the twin sister of actress Brittany Daniel.

Early life
Cynthia is five minutes younger than her twin sister Brittany, who was born in Gainesville, Florida. Brad, their older brother, has died. Carol and Charlton B. Daniel, Jr. (who died of cancer in 2008) are their parents. Cynthia was named Homecoming Queen of her high school.
The girls began modeling and were licensed to the Ford Agency at the age of 11, and they appeared in YM and Sassy. They were also in Doublemint gum ads as the Doublemint Twins.
Personal life
Daniel has two sons, Ryland and Colt, as well as her daughter, Steely Rose, alongside her husband, actor Cole Hauser.
Career
In a 1987 episode of The New Leave It to Beaver, both twins made their television appearance debuts. Daniel appeared in Elizabeth Wakefield's television series Sweet Valley High, based on Francine Pascal's book series (sister Brittany played Elizabeth Wakefield). The girls made their film debut in the 1995 drama The Basketball Diaries, during Sweet Valley High's run.
Daniel left acting and became a photographer after Sweet Valley High School was cancelled in 1997. She has since appeared in just one acting role on a 2002 episode of That 80s Show, which also starred twin sister Brittany. She and Brittany appeared in the 2022 revival of Cheaper by the Dozen, marking her first acting appearance since 2002.
