Cristiano Malgioglio Life

Cristiano Malgioglio (born on April 23, 1945) is an Italian composer, singer-songwriter, and television presenter. Born in Ramacca, Catania, Malgioglio's first venture with Durium, a record label, came as a result of Fabrizio De André's efforts.

He wrote "Ciao stai," an Iva Zanicchi song that won the San Francisco Music Festival in 1974.

With Mina's "It'importante è finire," he had his best success as a writer in 1975.

He began working with Roberto Carlos' Italian lyrics in the same period.

He wrote songs for, among others, Adriano Celentano, Rita Pavone, Amanda Lear, Raffaella Carretta, Mónica Naranjo, Morello Naranjo, Giuni Sartan, Mónica Naranjo, Ornella Parsonso, Jerome Vartan, Mortata Bella, Multello, Patti Phezzi, Ornella Grantello, Loretta Goggi, Franco Califano, and Franco Califano

Malgioglio began his career as a composer, characterized by sarcastic songs that were often high in sexual innuendos; the song "Sbucciami" was his main hit as a singer-songwriter.

Malgioglio returned to fame in the 2000s as a television star after a period of Latin America.

In 2017, he competed in the reality television show Grande Fratello VIP, the italian version of Celebrity Big Brother.
