Corey Feldman Life

Corey Scott Feldman (born July 16, 1971) is an American actor, voice actor, and singer.

He made his name in 1980s films including Gremlins (1984), The Goonies (1985) and Stand by Me (1986).

Feldman starred in the horror comedy "The Lost Boys" with Corey Haim in 1987; the two Coreys went on to star in other films together, including License to Drive (1988) and Dream a Little Dream (1989).

Early life

Feldman was born in Reseda, California, on July 16, 1971, the son of recording engineer Bob Feldman and cocktail waitress Sheila Feldman. Feldman was born Jewish. Feldman has said that his parents exploited him for his earning potential as a child actor and that his mother was abused, but Sheila Feldman denies it.

Personal life

Feldman claimed he started the "Emancipation Proclamation in Hollywood" at the age of 15, when his parents were granted emancipation. By the time the judge ordered the bank statements to come back, he said he was worth $1 million by age 15, but only $40,000 remained.

Feldman said he had a small puncture wound and admitted himself to a hospital on March 28, 2018. He had no lacerations at the time, according to the police.

Feldman holds the belief that the paranormal exists.

Feldman has spoken out about his heroin use and alcoholism, which he attributed to his mother's abuse and sexual assault while working in film. In September 1990, it was revealed that a then 19-year-old Feldman had been charged with heroin use in what was described as his second narcotics-related arrest since March 1990. Feldman also said he underwent a 10-month rehabilitation program to recover from his heroin use. Feldman wrote in 2013 that he had avoided the use of hard drugs since 1995.

Feldman denied being on drugs while on the Today show the previous month. After being pulled over in Mangham, Louisiana, Feldman was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, driving under suspension, and speeding. Feldman's security guard and four other members of his company were charged with drug possession, which included the smoking of Xanax.

Feldman and fellow actor Corey Haim were close friends. Feldman first met Haim at the age of 14, when the two actors appeared in The Lost Boys, a film in which they both appeared. "The Two Coreys" were born "instantly" and became known as "The Two Coreys." "Before, the Two Coreys hosted Alphy's Soda Pop Club, a weekly underage party night for Hollywood Youth."

Both Coreys went on to act in License to Drive (1988) and Dream a Little Dream (1989) together. In the end, the two actors will appear in a total of nine films together. The Two Coreys made mainstream fame and notoriety as teen idols by becoming a brand. Nonetheless, both Feldman and Haim had career interruptions as a result of heroin use.

From 2007 to 2008, The Two Coreys, a reality show about The Two Coreys, aired on the A&E Network. The disintegrating friendship between the former best friends triggered a six-month absence before the second season. He and Feldman reconciled off-camera photography before Haim's death.

Haim died of pneumonia in 2010 after a long fight with heroin use. Feldman said after Haim's death that he "hoped his friend would be remembered "as a brilliant, funny, enigmatic character with nothing but life and entertainment and art to all of our lives."

Feldman released My Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys in 2020. Feldman and Haim's friendship was explored in the film, which reveals that both were sexually assaulted as children in the entertainment industry.

As a child and a teenager, Feldman was close friends with Michael Jackson. "Michael Jackson's world, strange as it sounds, became my happy place" in his book Coreyography and several interviews: "Michael Jackson's world, mad as it sounds, became my favorite place..." When I first met Michael, it was like being ten years old."

Their friendship came to an end in 2001 because Jackson expected that Feldman would not be depicted in a forthcoming book. Feldman said on September 11, 2001, that Jackson helped bring Marlon Brando, Elizabeth Taylor, and Liza Minnelli out of New York City, but did not help him. "I trusted in your words/I believed in your lies," he responded with the song "Megalo Man" featuring the lyrics: "I believed in your words/I believed in your lies" in September in New York. Megalo Man - "I hate you" says the singer.

Feldman was sentenced to appear against Jackson in the singer's child molestation trial in February 2005. In the end, he did not testify. "I started looking at each piece of information, and with that realization came that there have been numerous events in my life and in my relationship to Michael that have caused a lot of confusion." Feldman said, Although Jackson refused to touch him, Feldman recalled that when he was 13 or 14 years old, Jackson first gave him a book that was "focused on venereal diseases and the genitalia." Feldman regarded this behaviour as inappropriate as an adult, but later described it as Jackson "just being parental for a boy who had no guidance."

Feldman dedicated a Los Angeles hospital concert to the singer when he died in 2009.

In the aftermath of Wade Robson's sexual harassment charges, Feldman spoke out in favor of Jackson in 2013. Michael Jackson had never molested children, according to him. Feldman denied that attempts were made to frame Jackson in order to silence Feldman's allegations of violence against others in 2017.

After new charges against Jackson were sparked by the documentary film Leaving Neverland in 2019, Feldman said Jackson had never behaved inappropriately toward him and called the story "one-sided." "It's been two days after," Jackson said, "It's difficult for me to remain virtuous and not even consider what's being said." However, Feldman wrote in a tweet in December 2019: "I stand [with] all victims." However, the times and memories we shared will never be negated. Those were [our] experiences, and although I was a victim of molestation, my time [with] MJ was clean and innocent, and that is the one I choose [to] remember."

Feldman was married to actress Vanessa Marcil from 1989 to 1993.

On the last episode of The Surreal Life, he met actress and model Susie Sprague in a nightclub in January 2002 and married on October 30th that year. A rabbi and MC Hammer, an ordained minister, co-officiated the ceremony. The couple broke after seven years of marriage in October 2009. Sprague filed for divorce later this month, citing irreconcilable inconsistencies as the cause. Zen Scott Feldman, their son, was in complete custody, with Feldman having visitation rights. She also requested spousal assistance. Feldman requested joint custody and requested that the court block Sprague's spousal assistance request. The couple's divorce became final in 2014 after a five-year process.

Feldman married Courtney Anne Mitchell on November 22, 2016. At Elton John's Fizz champagne lounge in Las Vegas, producer Marklen Kennedy officiated the event.

Feldman has claimed that he is a survivor of child sexual assault as an adult. According to him, he was molestified by a man who appeared only as "Ron Crimson," who served as an assistant to Feldman's father. Feldman has stated that "Ron" enabled his drug use. Cloyd Jon Grissom, Feldman's personal assistant, was later identified as actor and former personal assistant. Marty Weiss, a former talent agent and Alphy Hoffman, the head of a Hollywood underage club, were also accused of sexually assaulting him.

Barbara Walters said that Feldman was "damaging an entire industry" by his allegations during an episode of The View in October 2013.

Feldman repeated an assertion that actor Charlie Sheen assaulted his then-13-year-old co-star Corey Haim on the set of Lucas in March 2020 in his documentary (My) Truth: The Rape of Two Coreys. His ex-wife Susie Feldman and his Lost Boys co-star Jamison Newlander backed up his assertion. Sheen denied the charges, calling them "sick, twisted, and outlandish." On The Dr. Oz Show, Haim's mother Judy Carter had spotted a different actor as her son's rapist, and she told Entertainment Tonight that Sheen never assaulted her son.

Feldman was under police scrutiny on suspicion of sexual assault, according to reports in January 2018. Feldman was cleared of all charges the following month, but not before.

Feldman dropped himself from the SAG-AFTRA Sexual Harassment Committee in June 2020. After receiving a number of formal complaints, SAG-AFTRA had issued a motion to exclude Corey Feldman from the committee. Former members of Corey's Angels include Jacqueline Von Rueden, Poeina Suddarth, Margot Lane, Chantal Knippenburg, Deborah Clark, Jezebel Sweet, and Krystal Khali, who all have detailed information pertaining to Feldman's behavior with women. Feldman's case had "formally submitted to law enforcement, including the Los Angeles Police Department," according to the SAG-AFTRA national board resolution, "investigative investigations into allegations of sexual harassment are now ongoing."
