Life and career
Dunn, who was born in Normal, Illinois, and his mother, Linda, moved to St. Paul, Minnesota, when he was a child. He was active in theatre and joined an improv comedy group when he was attending St. Paul Central High School. Dunn came from New York in 1998, and while there, he appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. In 2004, he relocated to Los Angeles.

He has appeared in Parks and Recreation, Nick Swardson's Pretend Time, Game Shop, Burning Love, a small part of CollegeHumor's "If Google Was a Guy" and co-starred in NBC's Superstore.
